BRONZE CHOP: The Animated Series

BRONZE CHOP (Originally titled "Lo-Fi United") is an animated series created by Justin Orr, which follows a collective of specialized agents throughout the course of their daily lives and the oddities that they encounter while on assignments. The 1^st episode was written by Justin Orr and is currently under production in his Oakland, California studio. Images and animated teasers will be updated here regularly as the project progresses.

My sister and her design team at Squidbacon are helping to provide some unique visual elements that will be very present throughout the 1st episode of LFU. This loop is actually from a few years back when I was experimenting with the visuals. A bunch has changed since I animated this, but it was the best of the early examples which gave a definitive stylistic direction to my cartoon.

12/23/18 Logo-Rama
Here are a few of the various logos and insignias from characters and brands within the cartoon. I spend tons of time adding graphic design details because I enjoy the process so much.

8/3/18 Color Tests
Finalizing a good color palette takes some time. Today I finally got one together that I am really diggin'! Many of my favorite artists maintain a strong sense of good color usage in their designs, which is why I spend soooooo much time working on those 2 elements in my own artwork and with this project in particular.

5/12/18 Board Revisions
Reworking the script YET AGAIN and making changes to the storyboards as well. The dialog can always use some added punch, so I will usually walk through it with some creative homies before it becomes more solidified.
